They are looking for an Office Manager who can act as the functional backbone of the office, balancing administrative operations with full-cycle payroll and talent acquisition. Job Duties
Office Administration & Operations
- Act as the primary liaison with building management to coordinate maintenance, safety protocols, and facility repairs.
- Lead recruitment activities to support firm growth.
- Manage the company website and digital presence to ensure a professional public image.
- Coordinate firm events, social activities, and professional development sessions.
- Provide backup support to administrative and reception staff as needed.
Payroll & HR Support
- Process semi-monthly payroll for under 50 employees, ensuring all calculations for taxes and benefits are accurate.
- Collect and verify all timekeeping records and voluntary deductions.
- Manage benefits enrollment and coordinate with external 401k providers and payroll vendors.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and IT setup.
- Maintain confidential personnel records and track employee milestones such as PTO and performance reviews.
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal inquiries regarding benefits and payroll regulations.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in office management or operations, preferably within a professional services environment.
- Experience managing full-cycle, semi-monthly payroll is preferred
- Good proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting applications.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all professional levels.
- A high level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
