Talis Group’s client is a well-established and growing manufacturer located in Jeffersonville, IN. They are seeking a dependable and proactive Office Manager/Executive Assistant to support the company President & oversee daily office & people-related operations . This is a highly visible, trusted role for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, improving processes, and being the central point of coordination across the organization.
This position blends approximately 40% Executive Assistant support with 60% Office Management and HR-related responsibilities, making it ideal for a hands-on professional who prefers practical, people-focused work over corporate or policy-heavy HR environments.
This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity offering $65k-$80k, plus full benefits, and 401k. Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm or 8am-5pm, onsite.
Highlighted Duties:
- Provide direct administrative support to the President and leadership team.
- Manage correspondence, reporting, and document preparation with accuracy & discretion.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agenda, & track follow-up action items.
- Serve as a professional point of contact for employees, vendors, & external partners.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth & efficient workflows.
- Lead onboarding & offboarding processes.
- Coordinate recruiting efforts, including job postings, scheduling interviews, & attending job fairs.
- Process weekly payroll, benefits administration, & employee records.
- Maintain and update spreadsheets, reports, and databases (Excel and ERP systems.)
- Identify opportunities for process improvements & implement more efficient systems & procedures.
- Support company events, employee initiative, & general administration needs.
Highlighted Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as an Office Manager, Executive Assistant, or Administrative Professional (manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.)
- Experience supporting leadership while also handling office operations or HR-related tasks.
- Demonstrated experience processing payroll.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel; ERP system experience required.
- Highly organized, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and service-oriented mindset.
- Confident, professional communicator able to work effectively with leadership & employees.
- Process-improvement mindset with a “how can this work better?” approach.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
- Proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
