Office Manager / Administrative Assistant
Houston, TX (Southwest Area)

A well-established commercial property management team is seeking an organized and professional Office Manager / Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of a busy multi-tenant office building.

This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative experience who enjoys keeping an office organized, interacting with tenants and vendors, and supporting leadership with day-to-day operations. Previous property management experience is not required.

You will work closely with the Property Manager and management team in a small office environment. Tenants frequently stop by the office with questions or requests, so we are looking for someone who is welcoming, professional, and confident handling situations with both friendliness and professionalism.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for tenants, vendors, and visitors
  • Assist the Property Manager with daily administrative operations
  • Respond to tenant inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Coordinate and track maintenance requests and vendor services
  • Maintain organized tenant files, leases, and insurance documentation
  • Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Manage incoming mail, packages, and office supplies
  • Coordinate tenant communications and building notices
  • Support office organization and administrative projects as needed
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an Office Administrator, Office Coordinator, or Office Manager role
  • Experience working in a professional office environment supporting daily operations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional communication skills and confidence interacting with tenants, vendors, and visitors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience supporting accounts receivable and accounts payable is a plus
