Office Assistant – Logistics Corporation


We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join a growing logistics corporation. This role plays a key part in supporting the logistics department and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule ocean and air shipments for both hazardous and non-hazardous materials, including simple and complex cargo.
  • Communicate effectively with customers via phone and email.
  • Assist in resolving issues by identifying solutions that drive results.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the logistics team.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual: Fluent in both Spanish and English (read, write, and speak).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of logistics concepts.
  • Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with strong motivation and initiative.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in logistics, purchasing, or freight forwarding is preferred (training will be provided).

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
