Office Assistant – Logistics Corporation
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join a growing logistics corporation. This role plays a key part in supporting the logistics department and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule ocean and air shipments for both hazardous and non-hazardous materials, including simple and complex cargo.
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone and email.
- Assist in resolving issues by identifying solutions that drive results.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the logistics team.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual: Fluent in both Spanish and English (read, write, and speak).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of logistics concepts.
- Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with strong motivation and initiative.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in logistics, purchasing, or freight forwarding is preferred (training will be provided).
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
