Schedule: TBD, flexible full-time

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to residents and initiates referrals when appropriate and in accordance with Rehab Department Procedures.
  • Conduct screenings of residents at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment.
  • Evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation and conducts specialized evaluations as indicated.
  • Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to residents, families and team members.
  • Establish individual resident schedules in conjunction with other team members
  • Develop treatment plans by identifying a target list, including short term and long-term goals and methods to achieve identified goals.
  • Coordinate treatment plan with resident, family and other team members.
  • Implement and conduct treatment as outlined in treatment plan.
  • Monitor resident’s response to intervention and modify treatment as indicated to attain goals in accordance with physician orders.
  • Develop appropriate home or programming within the community to maintain and enhance the performance of the resident in their own environment.

Qualifications

  • Current Washington Occupational Therapist license
  • Current BLS Card
  • Strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach
  • Dependable and efficient with excellent teamwork
  • Previous long-term care or rehab experience a plus
