Compensation:
Pay Range: $75,500-$85,500 Per Year
Description:
• Join our team as an Occupational Therapist, providing specialized therapy services in an educational setting.
• This full-time, onsite role in New York, NY requires a dedicated professional to deliver comprehensive therapy to school-age children.
• The position involves direct therapy sessions, collaboration with educators and parents, and adherence to regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
• Deliver a minimum of 50 therapy sessions per week to school-age children.
• Maintain detailed session notes and update attendance records.
• Coordinate and compile reports, goals, and regression summaries.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory paperwork requirements.
• Participate in curriculum development to address therapy needs.
• Research and order necessary equipment and supplies.
• Conduct evaluations and attend relevant meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Experience with children with Autism/PDD and other developmental disabilities.
• New York State Licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Meet Medicaid eligibility standards.
• Complete Personalized System of Instruction (PSI) training modules.
• Ability to provide direct therapy services to students with disabilities.
