We are currently seeking a Babysitter in Westford, MA 01886!
A lovely family in Westford is seeking an experienced Babysitter to care for their 4-year-old son. Care is on an as-needed basis Mondays through Fridays with varying hours. Care will focus on active engagement and sensory play. The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, reliable, and genuinely enjoys being present and playful with an active child.
The child is non-verbal and thrives with caregivers who have experience supporting children with special needs. He loves movement, books, sensory play, and cars. Parents are often home, working in a separate space.

- Schedule:
- Monday: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesday – Thursday: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- As-needed; No guaranteed hours
- Candidates need not be available for all needs but should have a flexible schedule
- Start date: ASAP | Needs as soon as February 17th
- Rate: $30 per hour
Responsibilities
- All aspects of care and engagement for one preschool-aged child, including:
- Creating and leading developmentally appropriate
- Supporting focus, transitions, and engagement through play
- Sensory play, movement activities, and reading
- Preparing and serving snacks
- Communicating with parents regarding daily activities and observations
- Possibly outings to nearby activities in the future
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum 2+ years of paid, professional childcare experience
- Special needs experience strongly preferred
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Ability to provide at least two professional childcare references
- Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check
- Patient, creative, dependable, and highly engaged caregiving style
- Driving is not required but may be a plus. No pets in the home.
Compensation
This position pays $30 per hour, and the family is looking for as-needed care.
