Job Overview:

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.  We have an opportunity for a per diem O&P Technician I in Shreveport, Louisiana.

 

 

Responsibilities:

The Prosthetic and Orthotic Technician I fabricates orthotic and/or prosthetic devices with minimum supervision of the Director.

 

He/she will maintain laboratory equipment and participate in inventory control.

 

The Technician I will also repair and adjust orthotic and/or prosthetic devices as needed.

Qualifications:

Education

High School diploma or GED required

Certification/Licensure

Certification and licensure with orthotics and prosthetics preferred

Skills

Orthotic and/or prosthetic experience preferred
