NYS Licensed Practical Nurse

Career Connection Network has an opening for a compassionate and dedicated NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clients healthcare team! This direct hire position with a well respected practice offers:

• $25 - $27/hr.
• Full Time: 40 hours (4 days, 1 evening/week until 8:00PM, set schedule with options for flexibility, rotating Saturday morning (8AM-12PM) from September-May (Approx. one Saturday/month.)
• Benefits: PTO, 401K & Health Insurance

Any experience with Medent is a plus!

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Rooming patients
• Administering vaccines
• Medication reconciliation
• Obtaining vitals
• Performing EKG, PFT, and other in office testing
• Stocking and cleaning exam rooms
• Phone triage
• Complete assessments and required forms / documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations

Requirements:

• Valid New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Medent experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Familiarity with nursing documentation standards aligned with NCQA standards and HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with coworkers.
• Ability to handle situations confidently while maintaining professionalism.
