About the Role
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to serve as a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing day-to-day HR support with a strong focus on employee relations, HR guidance, and policy interpretation.
This role acts as a front-line HR resource, partnering closely with managers and employees to address workplace matters, provide coaching, and support a positive and consistent employee experience across a growing, multi-state organization.
The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, handling day-to-day employee relations matters independently, and escalating more complex issues as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a primary HR contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, and HR processes
- Partner with managers to provide guidance on employee relations matters, including performance concerns, coaching, and workplace issues
- Address and resolve employee concerns in a timely, professional, and consistent manner
- Support employee relations documentation and assist with workplace reviews or investigations as needed
- Provide guidance on leave programs and employee accommodations in partnership with HR leadership
- Support benefits-related questions, enrollment changes, and employee education
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment practices
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Support HR audits and ensure data accuracy within HR systems
- Provide back-up support for onboarding and offboarding processes
- Partner cross-functionally with recruiting, payroll, and leadership teams to support the employee lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
- 4–6 years of HR experience in a generalist or HR support role
- Experience supporting employee relations matters and advising managers
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site or multi-state environment
- Working knowledge of HR policies, employment law fundamentals, and best practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust across all levels
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Experience
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or long-term care environments
- Familiarity with Paycom HRIS platform
- Experience supporting benefits administration and leave processes
