Nursing Assistant 2W – FT D/N [Contract]

Location: New York 14456
Pay: $736 – $840
Schedule: Full Time, 3x12s, day/night rotation; EOW and holidays required
Additional: Must be willing to float to SSMH as needed

Requirements:

• BLS Certification (AHA or RQI)

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Health/Human Services preferred

• 1–2 years customer service and/or healthcare-related experience (Med/Surg, ED, ICU preferred)

• CNA candidates accepted

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and basic computer skills

• Ability to care for pediatric through geriatric patients

Summary:

• Provides basic patient care including ADLs, vital signs, mobility, and hygiene

• Assists with feeding, nutrition, and hourly rounding

• Performs patient repositioning, skin care, and safety measures

• Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient condition

• Supports transfers, ambulation, and use of assistive devices per care plan

• Works collaboratively with the care team to maintain patient comfort, dignity, and safety
