Position Overview
We are seeking a Nurse Paralegal to join our legal team. This unique role combines medical expertise with legal support, assisting attorneys in cases involving healthcare, medical malpractice, personal injury, and insurance claims. The ideal candidate will leverage their clinical background to analyze medical records, provide insight into healthcare standards, and support litigation strategy.

⚖️ Key Responsibilities
Medical Record Review: Analyze, summarize, and interpret patient charts, hospital records, and diagnostic reports.

Case Preparation: Assist attorneys in preparing medical evidence, timelines, and exhibits for trial.

Expert Liaison: Coordinate with medical experts, physicians, and healthcare providers to gather testimony and documentation.

Legal Research: Conduct research on medical standards of care, healthcare regulations, and relevant case law.

Client Support: Interview clients and witnesses to obtain medical histories and clarify healthcare-related issues.

Documentation: Draft summaries, affidavits, and reports that bridge medical and legal perspectives.

Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) license with clinical experience (hospital, clinic, or specialty care).

Legal training or law firm experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
