Compensation
Pay Range:$58.80-$84.00 Per Hr
Description
Oversee daily operations and clinical supervision of nursing staff.
Ensure delivery of quality patient care aligned with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with leadership for unit management and interdisciplinary performance improvement.
Manage data assembly and report preparation for health departments and agencies.
Monitor admissions, discharges, and compliance with clinical management standards.
Provide administrative coverage and participate in continuing education.
Implement innovative practices in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Establish positive relationships with patients and staff.
Implement hospital policies and regulatory codes.
Coordinate performance improvement activities.
Gather and report performance improvement data.
Oversee patient care to ensure clinical competencies are met.
Ensure compliance with ethical standards in patient care.
Provide administrative coverage as needed.
Requirements
Minimum five years as a Registered Nurse.
Five years of clinical experience in psychiatry.
Two years in a leadership role.
Proficiency in critical thinking, math, and computer skills.
Experience with quality improvement models and tools.
Competency in leadership, budgetary, and administrative skills.
Excellent oral and communication skills.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Nursing school (BSN required).
Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Licensed and registered as a Professional Nurse in New York County.
Basic Life Support and ACLS certifications required.
Crisis Management certification (PMCS, TRUST) required.
