How you’ll make an impact in this role
Capture high-fidelity diagnostic images by expertly operating imaging cameras to map radiopharmaceuticals, providing the essential "roadmaps" physicians need for accurate patient diagnosis.
Manage the full lifecycle of radiopharmaceuticals—from preparation to administration and disposal—ensuring every step is handled with clinical precision and a commitment to patient safety.
Champion a culture of radiation safety by rigorously following protection protocols and maintaining equipment integrity to keep our patients, our team, and yourself secure.
Deliver "physician-ready" data by meticulously verifying image quality, patient history, and lead markers before submission, ensuring the clinical team has perfect information for immediate review.
Ensure seamless department operations by proactively monitoring equipment health and maintaining an organized clinical environment, preventing delays in critical patient care.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Certified Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
