Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new products.
• Collaborate with design teams on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Specify, procure, and validate new manufacturing equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
• Manage prototype builds, pilot runs, and first article inspections.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing process documentation and work instructions.
• Monitor and improve initial production yields, quality, and cycle times.
• Facilitate the smooth transition of new products from engineering to mass production.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3-5+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or Manufacturing Engineering roles within a production environment.
• Demonstrated experience in transitioning products from design to high-volume manufacturing, including DFM/DFA implementation.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and assembly techniques.
• Proven ability to perform root cause analysis, process validation, and yield improvement activities.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with advanced PLM/PDM software administration or customization.
• Experience with high-volume automated manufacturing processes or advanced robotics.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Familiarity with simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD) for manufacturability analysis.
