Pay Rate: $19.50 + raise upon full-time conversion
(raise to $21.75 as new starting rate)
Position Overview:
Safely operate reach trucks, cherry pickers / order pickers, sit-down forklifts, and other powered industrial trucks
Unload trailers containing large, assembled equipment and machinery arriving from overseas shipments
Load trailers with equipment, parts, and materials for shipment to dealerships
Operate and be trained on various farming and construction equipment including excavators, tractors, skid steers, RTVs, and similar machinery as needed
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming equipment against shipping documents and quality standards
Transport large equipment, pallets, crates, tires, and heavy components to designated storage or staging areas
Stage and organize outbound loads to ensure safe and efficient loading
Secure loads on trailers using proper tie-down methods, blocking, and bracing techniques
Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance on forklifts and other machinery (including battery charging when applicable)
Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of farming/construction equipment
Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to record movements, update inventory, and track shipments when handling parts or smaller items
Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing equipment to verify condition and compliance with standards
Keep equipment, trailers, and work areas clean, organized, and safe throughout the shift
Follow all safety rules, company policies, OSHA standards, and housekeeping expectations
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Shifts:
Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (overtime on Saturdays possible)
Overtime Opportunities:
We regularly operate mandatory overtime during peak periods to meet customer demand. If you are only interested in working 40 hours per week or are unable to commit to extra hours when required, this position is not the right fit. We are looking for dependable people who want a stable, long-term opportunity and are genuinely available and willing to work the hours needed throughout the year.
Qualifications:
Recent experience (at least 6 months within the last 2 years) operating material handling equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers / order pickers, sit-down forklifts, and/or similar powered industrial trucks
Experience or strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to be trained on farming and construction equipment (e.g., excavators, tractors, skid steers, RTVs, and related machinery) strongly preferred
Must be at least 18 years old
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
Proven ability to safely operate heavy equipment and handle/move large or awkward loads including pallets, crates, tires, machinery, and agricultural/construction materials
Comfortable using RF scanners, warehouse management systems, and basic computer tools to scan, input, and retrieve information
Solid basic math skills and strong attention to detail
Strong focus on safety — ability to always maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others when operating forklifts and heavy machinery
Reliable, with a positive attitude and willingness to follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Able to consistently complete tasks accurately, on time, and safely
Must read, write, and communicate fluently in English
Physical Requirements
Frequently lift up to 50 lbs (heavier items with proper assistance or team lift)
Stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and pivot for 8+ hour shifts
Repetitively handle, pack, and stack products, cartons, and pallets
Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and ability to work at a steady pace
Comfortable working at ground level and occasionally on low-level platforms or step stools (if required)
Able to work in varying indoor temperatures depending on season and warehouse zone
Willing to always wear required PPE, including steel-toed shoes, gloves, and any other assigned protective equipment
