Northport Resident Manager - Night Shift

Job Title: Northport Resident Manager
Reports To: Northport Administrator

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Pay: $21/hour

Porchlight is seeking a compassionate and dependable Resident Manager to provide overnight support in our Northport Transitional Housing Program, serving up to eight residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overnight supervision and support in a transitional housing setting
• Promote a calm, respectful, and safe community environment
• Support residents in developing independent living skills (laundry, housekeeping, routines)
• Encourage resident progress toward goals including school, employment, and volunteering
• Administer and monitor medications in accordance with Porchlight policies
• Conduct monthly smoke detector checks and support quarterly fire alarm drills
• Respond professionally to overnight crises or resident needs

Qualifications

• Availability for overnight shifts (7 PM – 7 AM), including weekends/holidays
• Experience in supportive housing, mental health, or social services preferred
• Ability and willingness to administer medications per policy
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to Porchlight's mission of dignity, recovery, and housing stability
