JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Lead the migration of Java-based backend services to Node.js using Express.js.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and front-end developers to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
+ Analyze existing Java codebases to understand business logic and translate it effectively into Node.js.
+ Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices.
+ Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across the stack.
+ Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile development processes.
+ Ensure robust testing and validation of migrated services.
+ Analyze and existing programs, job flows, and components
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· 8 years’ experience in Node.js & Express.js: Advanced proficiency in building scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
· Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, multithreading, and enterprise application development.
· Experience in transitioning legacy Java services to Node.js with minimal disruption.
· Expertise in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
· Relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
· Code Quality & Performance: Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code with a focus on performance optimization.
· Proficient in Git for source code management and collaboration.
· Strong analytical and debugging skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
