Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our fast-growing development team. As a backend developer, you will be responsible for building scalable and efficient server-side applications using Node.js, integrating APIs, and collaborating with front-end developers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and related frameworks.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team standups.
Integrate third-party APIs and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js.
Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+); knowledge of TypeScript is a plus.
Hands-on experience with Express.js or other Node.js frameworks.
Experience with database systems (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
Understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and RESTful API design.
Familiarity with testing tools like Jest, Mocha, or Supertest.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Knowledge of front-end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue (for full-stack roles).
Experience with GraphQL, WebSockets, or Serverless architecture.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
