Night Shift Production Supervisor

Are you a motivated leader with a passion for quality production? We’re seeking a dedicated Night Shift Production Supervisor to oversee our bustling cranberry processing operations. This is your opportunity to lead a team, ensure top-tier product quality, and contribute to a company committed to excellence and innovation.

Wage: $26.00 per hour
Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating nights from 7PM to 7AM


About the Role

As the Night Shift Production Supervisor, you will report to the Production Manager and play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing the production of sweetened dried cranberries and juice concentrate. Your leadership will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across all facets of the operation during the overnight hours.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management: Direct, train, and schedule a team of 24+ employees, fostering a safe and collaborative work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and implement disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the entire production process, including equipment setup, operation, and cleanup. Ensure production targets are met by monitoring flow rates, Brix levels, and equipment efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance & Food Safety: Maintain strict adherence to HACCP and GMP standards. Conduct regular inspections and coordinate with QA to ensure product consistency and safety at every stage.
  • Sanitation & Maintenance: Lead sanitation efforts and ensure cleaning procedures follow company standards. Collaborate with maintenance to address equipment issues promptly.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety policies, ensure correct PPE use, and train staff on safe machinery handling and chemical use. Conduct routine safety audits to uphold a zero-accident environment.
  • Communication & Reporting: Facilitate effective communication across shifts and departments. Record key performance indicators, prepare reports, and participate in shift briefings.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Self-motivated and proactive with strong leadership qualities.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent reading and writing skills in English.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure within tight deadlines.
  • Competent in simple mathematical calculations.
  • Certified in forklift operation.
  • Knowledge of sanitation chemicals, GMPs, and food safety standards.
  • Experience with MVP Plant maintenance orders and Redzone system is preferred.
  • Physical ability to stand for up to 12 hours, lift 25-50 pounds, and work at elevated heights.
