Overview
We are seeking a Network Architect to lead the design and evolution of large-scale network infrastructure supporting distributed data center environments.
This role is responsible for defining architecture across core network interconnects, wide-area connectivity, cloud integration, and external network relationships. The focus is on building a highly scalable, resilient, and secure network foundation capable of supporting growing demand, diverse workloads, and multi-tenant environments.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in modern data center networking, routing architecture, and traffic engineering, along with experience designing systems that operate at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Network Architecture & Design
•Define and evolve the architecture of core network interconnects between data center environments
•Design scalable and resilient connectivity solutions across wide-area networks and external network integrations
•Establish reference architectures and standards for network expansion and future growth
Routing, Performance & Scalability
•Develop standards for routing design, traffic engineering, failover strategies, and network telemetry
•Ensure network performance, redundancy, and high availability across distributed environments
•Align network architecture with capacity planning and long-term infrastructure strategy
Connectivity & Integration
•Design connectivity models for integration with cloud platforms and external network providers
•Partner with internal teams to align network design with application and workload requirements
•Support evolving connectivity needs driven by high-throughput and latency-sensitive workloads
Security & Multi-Tenancy
•Define secure networking patterns that support multi-tenant environments and workload isolation
•Embed security, compliance, and observability into network architecture
•Ensure network designs meet performance and service-level expectations
Collaboration & Innovation
•Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to align network strategy with business objectives
•Contribute to modeling and simulation efforts for network capacity, topology, and performance
•Evaluate emerging technologies and approaches to improve scalability and operational efficiency
Required Experience
•7+ years of experience in network architecture or large-scale infrastructure design
•Strong expertise in modern data center networking architectures (e.G., leaf-spine, Clos, overlay networking)
•Experience with routing protocols, traffic engineering, and high-availability network design
•Experience designing wide-area connectivity and external network integration strategies
•Strong understanding of performance considerations in high-bandwidth, low-latency environments
•Experience designing for multi-tenant or shared infrastructure environments
•Strong documentation and communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction
Preferred Experience
•Experience working in large-scale or distributed infrastructure environments
•Familiarity with overlay technologies such as EVPN/VXLAN or similar architectures
•Exposure to cloud networking and hybrid connectivity models
•Experience supporting high-performance or data-intensive workloads
•Experience with network observability, monitoring, or simulation tools
•Background working in environments with advanced compute or data processing requirements
