Over 100 million players play our popular life simulation game BitLife and experience the exciting journey from birth to death and making decisions that determine the fate of their character. The decisions players make throughout the course of their (Bit)lives range from the mundane to the downright chaotic. YOUR MISSION

• Create compelling scenarios that keep our players engaged with new content

• Write and edit UX copy and in-game messages to players

• Collaborate with game designers, artists, and devs to align story with gameplay

• Develop creative content for events, updates, and live ops

• Contribute to brand voice and marketing narratives where needed
  
  

YOUR BACKSTORY

• Detail-oriented and collaborative

• Familiar with AI tools like ChatGPT, Sudowrite, or similar - and know when to use them (and when not to)

• 2+ years of writing experience in games, entertainment, or digital media

• Strong storytelling chops, especially in short-form and interactive formats

• A deep understanding of mobile gaming trends, genres, and player motivations

• Excellent English grammar, editing, and creative revision skills

• Comfort working with deadlines and adapting to evolving game designs
