Our client, a leading provider of industrial and commercial maintenance services, is seeking a Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician , you will be part of the operations support team, ensuring the smooth functioning and maintenance of various facility systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Pay rate: $36/hr - $38/hr (Higher rates can be discussed)
Shift: M- F 7am - 3:30pm
What's the Job?
- Assist with operational maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial/industrial buildings and systems.
- Inspect, calibrate, maintain, and repair HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire safety, boilers, refrigeration units, and associated controls.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Utilize CMMS computer systems to document work performed, parts replaced, and equipment histories.
- Coordinate with other vendors and team members to complete maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
What's Needed?
- 2-5 years of related experience in commercial facility maintenance or equivalent training.
- Good general knowledge of trades including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Building Management Systems preferred.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions and lift up to 75 pounds.
