Mission

Ensure our propane and diesel forklift fleet is safe, compliant, and always ready. You’ll be the reliability champion who blends technical expertise with clear communication and meticulous documentation.

Core Accountabilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and PMs on LPG and diesel forklifts
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues
• Conduct safety-focused inspections and confirm operational readiness
• Repair/replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and related assemblies
• Keep complete, accurate maintenance and service records
• Uphold OSHA and company safety standards at every step
• Respond swiftly to breakdowns to limit downtime
• Report findings, parts needs, and recommendations to management

What Sets You Up for Success

• Experience as a forklift or heavy equipment mechanic
• Required: hands-on work with propane and diesel forklifts
• Deep understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Competent in reading schematics and service manuals
• Valid driver’s license; forklift certification is a plus
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable in warehouse and outdoor conditions
• Strong attention to detail and diagnostic problem-solving

Preferred Background

• Trade or technical certification in mechanical repair
• Experience with multiple forklift manufacturers
• Welding or fabrication exposure

Schedule & Environment

• Full-time; schedule may vary based on operational needs
• Warehouse/industrial setting

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour (non-exempt)
