Mobile DevOps Engineer

Onsite | Los Angeles, CA | Contract (7 months, possible extension)

Epitec is seeking to support a healthcare technology organization by hiring a Mobile DevOps Engineer to own and optimize Android and iOS CI/CD pipelines, mobile deployments, and secure release workflows. This role bridges mobile development and DevOps, ensuring reliable, compliant, and automated mobile application delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Android and iOS using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, and Fastlane

• Automate mobile build, test, signing, and release workflows

• Manage mobile deployments using AirWatch, MTX, or similar MDM platforms

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management for mobile environments

• Partner with development, QA, security, and release teams to ensure smooth, compliant deployments

• Monitor and optimize build systems, deployment pipelines, and app performance

• Enforce security and privacy standards throughout the mobile release lifecycle

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across build, deployment, and runtime environments

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of experience in DevOps or Mobile DevOps roles

• Strong experience supporting both Android and iOS deployment workflows

• Hands?on expertise with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Fastlane)

• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as AirWatch or MTX

• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Groovy)

• Proficiency in C# and understanding of unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit)

• Experience with .NET, MAUI, and Microsoft mobile technologies

• Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for mobile backend integration

• Strong troubleshooting and problem?solving skills

• Bachelor’s degree required (Computer Science, Systems, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering)

Preferred Skills

• Medical device industry experience

• Monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Firebase Crashlytics

• Artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory)

• Mobile app signing, provisioning profiles, and certificate management

• Mobile test automation (Appium, XCTest, Espresso)

• Agile / Scrum experience

? Additional Skills / Keywords

• Hands?on experience with AirWatch, MTX, or similar MDM platforms

• Strong coding and scripting skills (Python, Bash, Groovy)

• Medical Devices experience is desirable, but not required
