American Workforce Group has partnered with a Wood Product Company , the world’s largest producer of wood fence boards, looking for a Millwright in Shelton, WA!

Description for Millwright:
Keep the mill running by fixing breakdowns and maintaining machinery
Perform preventative maintenance on machines
Repair and maintain cylinders, belts, conveyors, chains, motors, and valves
Dismantle, move and install machinery and equipment
Construct foundations and align machines
Perform welding and carpentry as needed
Moves machinery and equipment
Assembles and installs equipment such as shafting and conveyors
- Assembles machines, bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to the foundation or other structures
Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Other duties as assigned
Details for Millwright:
Pay: $25-$30 per hour
Schedule: Full-time swing shift (40+ hours), overtime as needed
Requirements for Millwright:
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and work order systems
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot mechanical issues
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, manuals, and blueprints
Ability to safely operate hand tools and move machinery
