Position Overview
A nationally recognized architecture and engineering firm is seeking a talented Mid-Level Designer with approximately 58 years of experience. This role involves contributing to design development, construction documentation, and coordination across multidisciplinary project teams.
The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative studio environment and demonstrates strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to develop design concepts and technical solutions.
- Prepare detailed construction documents and technical drawings.
- Assist with design development through all project phases.
- Coordinate with consultants and internal disciplines to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Participate in client meetings and support presentations.
- Maintain design intent throughout documentation and implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited university.
- 58 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in Revit and working knowledge of additional design software platforms.
- Strong understanding of building codes and construction documentation standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Progress toward architectural licensure or professional registration.
- Experience with aviation, civic, higher education, or municipal project types.
- LEED accreditation or sustainable design experience is a plus.
