As a Microbiologist II, youll serve as a key technical Subject Matter Expert in environmental monitoring and microbiology testing related to customer products and operational environments. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the highest standards of compliance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
What Youll Do:
As a Microbiologist II, you will be responsible for maintaining qualification and performing microbiology testing procedures to support production and quality assurance. You will coordinate and conduct training for new laboratory team members, providing technical guidance and support. You will liaise with external testing laboratories and subject matter experts to ensure accurate and reliable testing results. You will review testing documentation, ensure proper record-keeping, and assist in vendor audits as a microbiology expert. Additionally, youll support client, regulatory, and vendor audits, and contribute to various projects to enhance environmental control processes.
What Youll Bring:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in a science-related field such as Biology, Biochemistry, or Microbiology. You should bring at least 3 years of experience working in a commercial biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. Certifications or training in microbiology or quality assurance are a plus.
