JOB TITLE: MH-139 General Maintenance Technician - DEFENSE 
LOCATION: Maxwell AFB, AL
PAY RATE: $33-42/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week

• Shift: 1st Shift: 07:00–15:30 (Mon–Fri)

• Shift: 2nd Shift: 15:00–01:00 (Mon–Thu)

• OT: Limited

• Clearance: Secret required to start

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Maintain and track GSE (AGE) equipment, with focus on MH-139 systems

• Assist in flightline operations, including weapons repair, functional tests, and inspections

• Support team needs by becoming qualified in additional flightline operations

• Adapt to unique equipment requirements and help maintain flight schedules

Requirements:

• Secret clearance required to start

• High School Diploma or GED

• 4+ years of aviation maintenance experience

• Military background preferred

• Ability to work effectively in small teams

• Candidates must be available for all shifts as schedules may change based on program needs

• Some weekend shifts may be required for comp time

• Ability to climb, stand for long periods, and lift up to 40 lbs unassisted

• Comfortable working around hazardous products (aircraft oil, lubricants, solvents)

• Training provided onsite

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
