Key Responsibilities:
- Read and record meter readings for electricity, water, and gas on a regular schedule.
- Inspect meters and investigate discrepancies in readings to ensure accurate data collection.
- Report any issues found with meters, including malfunctions or damage, to the appropriate supervisor.
- Utilize handheld devices or mobile applications to input data efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with the public in diverse environments.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols during fieldwork.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic knowledge of utility services and equipment is a plus.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk long distances and navigate different terrains.
- Bend, stoop, and crouch as necessary to access meters
Pay Rate:
- $16.00/hour
