The Metal Fabricator / Welder plays a key role in our shop at Burke Truck & Equipment by building the components and assemblies that go directly onto our trucks and equipment. This position supports our core business of upfitting and producing reliable snowplow and municipal equipment used by cities and contractors across the Midwest.

This role is important because the quality of our builds starts with fabrication. If parts aren’t built right, nothing else comes together the way it should. A strong fabricator helps keep jobs moving, ensures equipment holds up in the field, and plays a big part in delivering dependable, long-lasting products to our customers.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in what they build. If you like working with steel, welding, and seeing a project go from raw material to a finished piece of equipment, you’ll find this role rewarding. You’re not just doing repetitive work—you’re part of building real machines that get used every day, and your work directly impacts the final product.
