Overview:

We are currently seeking a Merchandiser Intern to join Primo Brands this summer in Dallas, TX. The Merchandiser Intern will support the execution of in-store merchandising strategies across key retail partners. This role provides hands-on exposure to field sales, retail execution, and data-driven decision-making within a fast-paced CPG environment. The intern will work closely with sales, marketing, and merchandising teams to ensure brand standards are met and products are optimally displayed to drive sales.

Duration: Tuesday, May 26, 2026 – Friday, July 31, 2026. Must be available for orientation during the first week (5/26 – 5/29), final project presentation during the last week (7/27 – 7/31) and at least 7 of the 8 weeks between 6/1 – 7/24, excluding unpaid company holidays (Friday, 6/19 & Friday, 7/3). Any known absence must be communicated in advance to the Recruiter, Internship Program leaders and the Hiring Manager.


Schedule/Hours per week: Monday – Friday, 30 - 40 hours per week during the 10-week program. Ability to work in office 3 – 5 days per week based on individual team schedule. Remote work days and overtime hours must be approved in advance by your Manager.

 

Eligibility: Ability to commute to the Primo Brands Headquarters in Dallas, TX throughout the program. Some travel may be required, including overnight. Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, business / business consulting, finance or analytics related field or a related discipline at an accredited institution. Junior undergraduate standing preferred; motivated candidates at other academic levels will also be considered. This internship is designed as a paid professional experience and does not include academic credit.


Compensation: $24.00 / hour

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: 

  • Support in-store merchandising execution, including shelf resets, planogram compliance, and promotional displays
  • Assist with store audits to assess product placement, pricing, and competitive activity
  • Collect and analyze field data (photos, store conditions, inventory levels, display compliance)
  • Partner with sales and merchandising teams to identify opportunities for improved execution
  • Help prepare recap reports and insights for internal stakeholders
  • Support seasonal or promotional launches in select retail locations
  • Maintain positive relationships with store personnel while representing the brand professionally
  • Analyze PDI Independent data to identify white space and work collaboratively with the DSD teams to close gaps.
  • Deliver a final presentation or capstone project summarizing key learnings and project outcomes
Qualifications:
  • Currently studying in a marketing, business / business consulting, finance or analytics related field.
  • Team spirit & can-do attitude: strong interpersonal skills, willingness to roll up your sleeves and take on any projects. Not afraid of tackling big problems / questions that don’t have clear answers from the get-go. 
  • Effective communicator: concise written and verbal communication skills, and ability to effectively interface at all levels. Understanding how to build PowerPoint Slides and work with Excel Data.
  • Innovative thinker: The ability to take initiative, develop and seek out creative and innovative ideas. Seeks opportunities to build upon planned activations to make them fresh and relevant in culture. 
  • Highly ambitious: looking to make an impact in a short period of time. Desire to gain as many sales and financial knowledge as possible from those in the field.  

Ability to lift and move products or displays (typically up to 25–40 lbs.), as required
