Responsibilities:
The Memory Care Recreation Assistant delivers efficient and effective recreation programming activities in the Memory Care Unit to achieve positive clinical outcomes for dementia patients/residents and family satisfaction.

*Contribute to the development of an interdisciplinary plan of patient/resident care.
*Facilitate and encourage patient's/resident's participation in group and individual activities.
*Provide resources and materials to address the special interest of patient's/resident's for independent engagement.
*Make recommendations regarding recreation equipment/supplies required to meet the needs of the patients/residents and maintain adequate supplies of them.
Qualifications:
*High school degree or equivalent is required.
*Must be read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors to respond to their medical and physical needs.
