Medical Transcript FT Days

JOB SUMMARY:  The transcriptionist is responsible for the processing of all patient test reports from dictation to distribution. He/she is in charge of scheduling outpatient testing. He/she greets visitors and patients. He/she handles all incoming phone calls.  He/she processes all of the clerical needs of the department.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High school graduate.    
2. Has successfully passed a course in medical terminology. 
3. Possesses accurate typing skills. 
4. Has experience in using computers for word processing, etc.     
5. He/she must have excellent   verbal skills.     
6. Has a general knowledge in office organization and is experienced in the use of office machines.
