Medical Technologist

Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30046
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (High possibility of extension)
Shift: Sunday–Thursday | 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Weekend rotation required)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Pay Rate:$42–$47 per hour

Position Overview

A healthcare organization in the Lawrenceville, Georgia area is seeking an experienced Medical Technologist to support laboratory operations during overnight hours. This role plays a critical part in performing diagnostic testing that supports disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing in accordance with established protocols

• Analyze specimens to assist in diagnosis and patient care

• Ensure accuracy, quality control, and proper documentation of test results

• Maintain laboratory equipment and follow safety standards

• Collaborate with clinical staff as needed

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Required Certifications & Licensure

One or more of the following required:

• ASCP

• NCA

• AMT

• AAB

• HHS

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience within laboratory specialty

• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
