Location: Overland Park, KS

Shift Options

Full-Time Tracks Available:

• Evening Shift: 40 Hours/Week

• Night Shift: Thursday – Sunday (32 Hours/Week, Weekends)

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Pay: $29.00 – $41.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

• Relocation Assistance: $5,000

• Shift Differentials:

  • $2/hr – Evenings

  • $3/hr – Nights

  • $3/hr – Weekends

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a certified Medical Technologist (ASCP) to join a high-acuity acute care hospital laboratory team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment supporting advanced medical and surgical services.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform waived, moderate, and high-complexity laboratory testing in accordance with CLIA guidelines

• Handle blood and body fluid specimens with precision and accuracy

• Conduct pre-analytic processing and specimen collection

• Monitor quality control and investigate unexpected or abnormal results

• Correlate laboratory data with pathological conditions

• Maintain laboratory equipment (centrifuges, refrigerators, freezers)

• Manage inventory and supplies

• Participate in performance improvement initiatives

• Assist in training and orientation of new staff and laboratory students

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science (or grandfathered MT status per CLIA88)

• Certification: ASCP (MT/MLS), CLS (NCA), or applicable sub-specialty certification (BB, C, I, H, or M) required

• Experience: Minimum of 1+ year of recent Blood Bank experience in an acute care hospital setting

Note: Experience outside of an acute care/hospital environment will not be considered.
