Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc has an opportunity as Medical Services Administrative Assistant to join our team in Avon, Indiana.
Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, this position will be responsible for aiding medical staff to manage day-to-day clinical operations in an efficient and effective manner. The position is a full-time position.
Administrative Support Functions:
- Prepare Agenda and meeting materials for Medical Staff Meetings
- Review and Recording Action plans at Medical Staff Meetings
- Attend organizational meetings as assigned
- Represent Medical Services at inter departmental meetings
Chief Medical Officer Support
- Manage schedule for CMO
- Provide project and process development updates to CMO as requested
- Documentation creation and distribution
- Clinical and service data collection and distribution
Clinical Care Support:
- Creating and managing EHR clinical schedules for medical staff
- Compose daily Medical Services location communication
- Auditing medication and sample storage and equipment functioning
Education and Experience:
- Received a 2-year associate degree
- Knowledge of DMHA billing requirements and procedures
- Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards
- Knowledge of SWOT and PDCA quality improvement processes
