Medical Sales and Operations Intern

MedInc of Texasis looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company. You will be working closely with our teams to gain insight into surgical procedures, medical technology, and the role of a Medical Sales Representative.

To be successful as an Intern, you should be willing to help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor. You will be working with our medical sales and inventory/operations departments.

This is a summer internship with an expected commitment of 10-20 hours per week and includes occasional travel.

Medical Sales Responsibilities:

• Observe Medical Sales Representatives in their day-to-day processes.
• Help prepare for local labs when needed and observe labs.
• Participate in on-the-job training through observations, evaluation, and feedback.
• Gain a better understanding of what a Medical Sales Representative does and how the sales cycle works.
• Take product training as available.

Inventory and Operations Responsibilities:

• Obtain knowledge of MedInc's products and how inventory is managed.
• Organize surgical tools and help count sets when needed.
• Assist with work processes in operations and the warehouse while being exposed to all office functions.
• Attend weekly and monthly team meetings, as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Intern Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university as a junior or senior for the upcoming Fall 2026 semester.
• Interest in medical device sales and technology.
• Ability and willingness to occasionally travel between the Houston and Spring offices and to local hospitals to observe surgical cases.
