Medical Receptionist Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team! You will plan physical rehabilitative programs to improve patient quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Answer phones, electronic scheduling/ Posting, verify insurance benefits, collect copay, faxing/filling
• Clean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatment
• Instruct, motivate, safeguard, or assist patients practicing exercises or functional activities, under the direction of therapy staff
• Change linens, such as bedsheets and pillowcases
• Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment
• Team player attitude, energetic, excellent customer service.
• Observe patients during treatment to compile and evaluate data on patients' responses
• Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
• Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
• Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
• Record and document patient care services
• Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related fields
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities

The pay rate will be $$$/hour depending on experience.
