Position Title: Medical Receptionist – Contract
Location: Brick, NJ 08724
Duration: 31 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 40 Hours per Week | Float to Various Locations
Pay: $18 – $20/Hr (Based on Experience)
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a professional Medical Receptionist to provide reception and clerical support under the supervision of practice management and physicians. The role includes patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, billing support, and general office administrative tasks. Candidates must be willing to float to various locations within 30 minutes of home.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors promptly, providing a friendly and professional experience.
Receive and direct communications courteously and in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Assist patients with the sign-in process and respond to their needs efficiently.
Support financial processes, including verifying information, posting payments, and preparing deposits.
Monitor and maintain office supplies; coordinate with team members for ordering as needed.
Manage patient check-in and check-out, including demographic verification, insurance eligibility, copayment collection, and appointment scheduling.
Promote patient satisfaction through helpful and friendly interactions.
Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping systems.
Adapt work schedule to meet practice needs, including cross-coverage and additional hours as required.
Serve as a pre-loader for the EMR system.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year of experience in receptionist or clerical roles; medical office experience preferred.
Ability to travel to multiple locations within 30 minutes of home.
Experience with Epic system preferred.
CPR certification preferred.
