Medical Receptionist
Pinnacle Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is an outpatient physical therapy office dedicated to providing our patients with excellent customer service and dedicated patient care in a fun-loving, patient-centered atmosphere.
The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for greeting and assisting patients upon their arrival to Pinnacle Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine as well as performing various front desk duties to include verifying patient demographics and insurance information correctly, managing patient schedule effectively, obtaining patient referrals, answering phone calls professionally and efficiently, communicating interoffice messages, and handling other general office duties as specified by management. Must be detail-oriented, thorough, and have exceptional customer service skills.

- At least two years of medical office experience is necessary.
- Excellent time management skills required.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Must have great computer skills and be proficient in Word.
- Experience using WebPT EMR beneficial.
MUST be able to work the scheduled hours below:
- Mondays-Thursdays: 8:00 am-5:30 pm.
- Fridays: 8:00 am-12:00 pm (or later, as needed).
Responsibilities:
- The Medical Receptionist will answer phone calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, obtain insurance authorizations, get mail, collect patient payments as well as do data entry, handle medical records requests, fax documents, scan documents, handle worker's compensation records, and assist in other clerical duties as assigned.
- Must be able to prioritize daily tasks and have excellent time management skills.
- Must maintain patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Must enter data into computer accurately and efficiently.
- Must possess great oral and written skills.
- Other clerical duties as assigned.
- The Receptionist will also cross-train in the job description for PT Tech to help as needed.
Pay:
- $12-$15 an hour and is dependent upon experience.
