The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s North Hospitalis looking for a Medical Lab Scientist(Clinical Lab Scientist,Medical Technologist)to join our lab team. You will have the opportunity to perform an extremely broadranging menuof tests. Our lab is a collaborative team with diverse backgrounds and experience levels, which ensures our vision of being“The best place to get care. The best place to give care.”is maintained.
Our laboratory is equipped with advancedinstrumentation,operatingon the Sysmex XN1000,Stago MAX, SiemensAtellica, andClinitek Advantus, GEM 5000, GeneXpert and ECHO Blood Bank automation.The laboratory staff have a window view and flexible 12-hour shift scheduling.
The Work:
Performsaccurate and reliable analyseson a variety of patient samples.
Recognizestechnical, instrument orclinical correlationproblems, identifying causes and evaluating alternative solutions
Confirmsand verifieslaboratory resultsutilizingin-depth knowledge of techniques,principles,and instruments
Correlatesand interpretsdata based on knowledge of physiological conditions affecting test results
Establishesand monitorsquality assurance programs
Participatesin performance improvement programs
We are seeking a Medical Lab Scientist that is confident in their skills, patient focused, positive, and willing to go above and beyond for their patients and peers. We are open to new MLS graduates as well as experienced MLS applicants. We are looking for professionals whocanmulti-taskandquicklyadapt to change in our fast-paced environment.
