Job Details
We are seeking a Chief Medical Officer / Medical Director to provide strategic and operational clinical leadership across our organization.
This role is ideal for a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine MD/DO who is ready to expand their leadership footprint while maintaining meaningful clinical involvement.
Clinical Leadership & Strategy
Oversee clinical quality, safety, and compliance initiatives
Drive quality improvement programs and value-based care initiatives
Lead provider recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, and performance management
Ensure compliance with FQHC regulations and HRSA requirements
Partner with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives
Administrative Oversight (70%)
Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
Monitor quality metrics, productivity, and patient outcomes
Support budget planning and operational decision-making
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and clinical excellence
Clinical Component (30% | 0.3 FTE)
Provide direct patient care in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Maintain connection to frontline clinical operations
Model patient-centered care and clinical best practices
Qualifications:
MD or DO (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine)
Active Ohio license (or ability to obtain)
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Interest in leadership and administrative growth
Prior leadership experience preferred but not required — open to strong emerging physician leaders
