Medical Device Assembler
Location: Zelienople, PA 16063
Pay: $17/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
About the Role:
A-Line Staffing is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Medical Device Assemblers . This position is perfect for those looking to start a career in manufacturing, with opportunities for on-the-job training and potential permanent hire. No prior experience is required but is preferred, knowledge of hand tools is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices.
- Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment.
- Conduct quality inspections in accordance with quality specifications.
- Follow clearly defined SOPs and scientific methods while adhering to quality guidelines.
- Rotate through various tasks and responsibilities as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 0-1+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, interpret specifications, and perform basic math calculations.
- Ability to use basic measurement tools, such as microscopes.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work flexible and/or extended hours if required.
