Job Description

Position Title: Medical Coder

Organization: Medical Transportation Management

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound calls from Members, Clients, and Facilities
• Manage approximately 60-80 calls a day, with higher volumes on Mondays
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent MTM Health in a professional manner
• Ensure accurate and timely coding of medical diagnoses and procedures

Essential Qualifications:

• Reside in Rhode Island
• 1 year of Call Center experience
• 6 months of Customer Service experience
• Basic typing/computer skills with excellent navigational abilities
• High-speed internet access (minimum upload speed of 3 mbps and download speed of 30 mbps)

Desired Experience:

• Previous experience in medical coding
• Certification in Medical Coding (e.g., CPC)
• Familiarity with medical terminology and coding guidelines
