Medical Claims Analyst

Location Dallas, TX | Onsite


Compensation & Schedule

• $19.00/hour

• Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM



ROLE IMPACT

This role supports timely and accurate medical claims processing by verifying and maintaining provider contact data. You will ensure information integrity across systems while safeguarding protected health information (PHI). Success is defined by data accuracy, consistent production performance, and strict adherence to HIPAA compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities

• Contact healthcare providers via phone, fax, and email to verify and update provider demographic and billing contact information

• Validate data by confirming details with senior staff in medical or billing departments

• Maintain, audit, and correct provider records within internal claims and contact management systems

• Identify and resolve duplicate records, discrepancies, and data-entry errors

• Respond to analyst inquiries and complete real-time follow-ups to support claims adjudication workflows


Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• 2–3 years of experience in a medical office, healthcare administrative, or outbound call environment with working knowledge of HIPAA regulations

• Strong data entry accuracy, attention to detail, and professional phone communication skills in a fast-paced, production-driven setting


Core Tools & Systems

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Provider database and contact management systems

• Standard office equipment (multi-line phone, fax, secure email platforms)


Preferred Skills

• Outbound call center, provider outreach, or soft sales experience

• Proven track record of meeting attendance and productivity benchmarks

• Experience working with claims processing, medical billing, or healthcare data validation
