Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on billing experience, preferably in ABA, mental health, or urgent care. The ideal candidate understands the full revenue cycle and can manage claims efficiently from submission through payment and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Submit and manage insurance claims (commercial and government payers)

• Follow up on unpaid, denied, or rejected claims

• Post payments and reconcile accounts

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits

• Handle prior authorizations when required

• Work denials and appeals

• Communicate with insurance companies and provider offices

• Maintain accurate documentation and billing records

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience

• Experience with ABA therapy, mental health, urgent care, or similar specialties strongly preferred

• Strong understanding of insurance guidelines and billing regulations

• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding basics

• Detail-oriented and organized

• Ability to work full-time in office (Monsey, NY)
