A bit about us:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving underserved communities. This role is responsible for accurate and timely medical billing, with a strong focus on Medicare and Medicaid claims. Dental billing experience is a plus.
Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

Job Details
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare, review, and submit medical (and dental, if applicable) claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers
· Ensure claims are accurate, complete, and compliant with payer and FQHC guidelines
· Resolve claim denials, rejections, and payment discrepancies in a timely manner
· Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts as needed
· Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
· Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
· Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing issues
· Adhere to HIPAA and organizational compliance standards
Qualifications
· 1–3 years of medical billing experience, specifically with Medicare and Medicaid
· Dental billing experience strongly preferred
· Knowledge of medical billing codes, claim forms, and reimbursement processes
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Requirements
· Must provide proof of vaccination or approved exemption
· Must pass background check and drug test
