Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Biller with specialized knowledge in home infusion pharmacy billing. The ideal candidate will have direct experience billing for IVIG, TPN, nursing per diem charges, and Part D drug charges, with a strong working knowledge of payer-specific billing guidelines.
 
What You’ll Do

• Accurately process and submit claims for infusion therapy services, including IVIG and TPN.
• Bill and reconcile nursing per diem charges and infusion drug charges under Medicare Part D and commercial payers.
• Convert IV drug dosages into correct, billable units to ensure compliant and accurate billing.
• Review prescriptions, nursing notes, and therapy orders to validate billing charges.
• Follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims, appealing as necessary to maximize reimbursement.
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy, nursing, and reimbursement teams to maintain billing accuracy and compliance.
• Stay updated on billing regulations, coding changes, and payer-specific guidelines for home infusion therapy.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in medical billing for a home infusion pharmacy setting.
• Strong knowledge of IV drug billing, including experience with IVIG and TPN therapies.
• Proficient in converting IV drug dosages to billable units for accurate charge entry.
• Familiarity with Medicare Part D and commercial insurance billing practices.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through.
• Experience with pharmacy management systems and billing software preferred.
