Medical Biller

Elevate Dermatology and Plastic Surgery is seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our established, patient-centered practice at the Gaskins Road location. This role supports both our Plastic Surgery services and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and is best suited for a candidate with a strong background in surgical and procedure-based billing.

• Demonstrated experience with Plastic Surgery and ASC billing
• Strong understanding of surgical global periods, prior authorizations, and claim follow-up

Your Role

As an On-Site Medical Biller, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Interpreting and resolving Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
• Managing patient billing inquiries with professionalism and clarity
• Accurately posting insurance payments and adjustments
• Identifying, correcting, and appealing denied or underpaid claims
• Handling claims related to surgical procedures and ASC services from submission through resolution
• Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate charge capture

Experience with ModMed (EMA) is preferred but not required.

A criminal background check is required.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
• 36–40 hours per week
• Bi-weekly payroll with direct deposit
